The Louisville arts community has gained international acclaim and is one of only nine U.S. cities with a professional opera, ballet, theatre, orchestra and children's theatre. E. P. "Tom" Sawyer State Park is a 369-acre oasis on the outskirts of the Louisville metropolitan area.
