The Long Drive competition was held yesterday May 15, 2006 at Prairie Highlands Golf Course.  The first round was held at hole 12, with the top five moving on to the preliminary round.

 

The five finalists teed off on the first hole where Tanner White from Midland Lutheran College (Neb.) won with a drive of 312 yards.  Josh Eck, Southern Nazarene University (Okla.) came in second with a drive of 304 yards, Jarod Tammell from Berry College (Ga.) hit for 301 yards. Bryan Lemkau, Saint Ambrose University (Iowa), and Corey Hale from Oklahoma Christian University finished in fourth and fifth respectively.
