The tournament was played in extremely difficult wind conditions, so difficult in fact that the 2nd round had to be cancelled. Point Loma was in 4th place after the first round but played poorly the next round; Point Loma/Smee Builders @ Steele Canyon GC, 2 of 13 teams, 306-299-295=900. CSU, Stanislaus ranked #2 in Div II won the tournament. Point Loma beat 6 ranked NAIA teams. PLNU beat Wayland Baptist, Concordia (Ca), British Columbia, CSU-San Marcos, Southern Nazarene, Victoria, Holy Names.; CSU-Monterey Bay Otter Invite @ Bayonet, tie for 4th of, 305-301=606. Tournament was played in rainy conditions and washed out the second round. This was a strong Div II tournament that included 11 top 25 ranked D-II teams. Point Loma beat #1 Bakersfield, #2 Stanislaus,#8 Sonoma St., tied #5 West Florida, lost to #6 Lynn and #7 Western Washington

Lost to Div -I Loyola Marymount and U of San Francisco.
