A supportive environment can lead to success

When you choose to attend one of nearly 300 NAIA member colleges or universities throughout the United States and Canada, you are welcomed into a supportive environment of students and faculty that are likely to become lifelong friends. Small classes and closer student-faculty interaction make it easy to form strong friendships with classmates and faculty, which could have a great impact on your success and career preparation.

Big opportunities are on smaller campuses

With smaller campus communities, there are more opportunities for students to participate in activities. There are greater possibilities for students to experience leadership roles in student organizations, academics and intramural and intercollegiate athletics. The NAIA offers 23 championships in 13 sports and more than 90% of NAIA schools offer athletic scholarships.

You'll enjoy life outside the classroom with the variety of activities, athletic events and religious services found at NAIA schools.

Champions of Character can brighten your future

The NAIA launched the Champions of Character program in 2000 to help students build character through sport. Promoting values like respect, responsibility, integrity, servant leadership and sportsmanship, the NAIA Champions of Character program can help you make good choices in all aspects of your life.

The program's community outreach component will help you connect with local employers and organizations who support the NAIA's character development initiative. This can help you gain valuable experience as an undergraduate that prepares you for a successful career.
