August 19 Preseason national rating - available after 3:00 p.m. (CST) at www.naia.org.
September 8 First weekly nominations for NAIA Men's Soccer National Player of the Week. Nominations from the conference/A.I.I./unaffiliated group information directors or their designated representative must be received by the NAIA Department of Sports Information by 5:00 p.m. (CST) Mondays, ending November 10.
September 9 First national weekly ratings released - available after 5:00 P.M. (CST) at www.naia.org. 2008 rating dates are August 19 (preseason), September 9, September 16, September 23, September 30, October 7, October 14, October 21, October 28, November 4, November 11 and November 16 (final rating).
RELEASE player of the week after 3:00 p.m. (CST) each Tuesday through November 11 at www.naia.org.
October 1 DEADLINE for the national office to receive affiliated conference, A.I.I., and unaffiliated group national tournament qualifying plans.
October 6 First of two rater conference calls
October 17 DEADLINE for receipt of DAKTRONICS-NAIA Scholar-Athlete information, if utilizing the
Scholar-Athlete checklist.
November 3 DEADLINE for potential national championship opening round host institutions to submit opening round host site questionnaire and official bids to NAIA national office
November 7 DEADLINE for receipt of NAIA Buffalo Funds Champions of Character Team Award nomination materials.
RECEIPT DEADLINE for submitting Daktronics-NAIA Scholar-Athlete nomination materials to Mitch Ellisen (University of Saint Francis IN), NAIA-MSCA Scholar-Athlete Coordinator.
November 10 DEADLINE for submitting Conference/A.I.I./Unaffiliated Group tournament brackets with
participating teams to the national office.

November 12 DEADLINE for the NAIA national office and NAIA-MSCA 1st-Vice President Richard Vardy (Berry GA) to receive the Soccer Seeding Information Form (Appendix C).

December 1-6 50th ANNUAL NAIA MEN'S SOCCER NATIONAL CHAMPIONSHIP – 16 teams at final site : Hosted by Fresno Pacific University and the Fresno Sports Council
