GUIDELINES FOR COVERAGE OF REGIONAL EVENTS

1. Certified Athletic Trainer will cover the event
2. Trainer should arrive one hour before event and stay 30 minutes after event
3. Trainer MUST approved by tournament director
4.  Provide the following supplies or equipment
    a. Water, cups, coolers
    b. Ice & ice bags
    c. Emergency supplies - splints, stretchers, crutches
    d. Access to phone 
    e. Maps and directions to local medical facilities
    f.  OSHA approved biohazard receptacle
5. Each team must provide their own athletic training kit and supplies
6. Each team should have note providing information from their trainer or team physician for required modalities or special medical needs.
7. The assigned trainer will send out a courtesy letter 2-3 weeks before the event with all relevant information.  All potential participants in the regional event will receive the letter.
8. FEE structure:
     a. Tennis - $300
     b. Softball - $350
     c. Baseball - $525
